 Rob moved to Colorado Springs in 2006 from New Jersey and has been looking to start a band with a style similar to the Red Hot Chili Peppers and the dissonance and progressions similar to Stone Temple Pilots. These days it is hard to find others that play instruments well, with the general idea of doing what is best for the song in mind. With all the musicians seeming to only want to play metal and screamo type music there are definitely slim pickings, and not knowing too many people as from not being from the area, the hunt began. Dan one day saw an ad Rob placed on craigslist. Dan had just moved to Colorado Springs from Iowa City and has only been playing a short time but was willing to learn (and learns quick) and definitely has a natural talent for coming up with melodies. Rob was drawn to him instantly. Rob had been writing songs since 2002 and has completed a number of songs to use in the new band. Rob and Dan worked on a bunch of these songs and wrote some songs together too. We just picked up Rob's old drummer from a previous jam band and we are currently working on lyrics so we can release our first CD and start playing shows.
